The Summer in Salamanca Study Abroad Program carries twelve credit hours. Therefore, enrolled students may apply for student cultural loans for which they would normally be eligible. The Financial Aid Office will be able to assist students in obtaining information about eligibility for loans or other aid to defray the cost of the program.

Truman State University students who are on an academic scholarship, can apply the equivalent of one semester of their scholarship to the Salamanca Summer Study Abroad Program. For more information regarding financial aid assistance for this program you can contact the Financial Aid Office or Dr. Pites.

Pershing Scholars would be able to apply funds from this scholarship towards the trip for Study Abroad Program in Spain.

Truman State University offers a Study Abroad scholarship through the CIEA to students going on Truman faculty sponsored programs. For more information check with the CIEA office or Dr. Pites.

Another scholarship is available to students in the Salamanca program through the Institute of International Education in Chicago. For more information and applications contact Dr. Pites or the CIEA office at Truman.

We encourage students to check for other scholarships offered by the University at http://admissions.truman.edu/Affording_Truman/fa.stm
