As plans for building the present church went forward, in a note dated December 15, 1942, our pastor Fr. Patrick J. Barrett entered into an agreement with St. Joseph's church in LaPlata (since closed), to exchange Stations of the Cross. The agreement was to last only until such time as one or the other party wished to have their original stations back. It seems the trade was never reversed, and it is not known what became of the original MI stations.
