Biographical Sketch

Dr. Mun (Ph.D. Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) is Professor of Finance in the School of Business at Truman State University. He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who among America’s Teachers, and Who’s Who in Business Higher Education. His research interests include international finance & investments, behavioral finance, market microstructure of stock & derivative markets, and the use of derivatives by financial institutions.  He has articles recently published in the Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Global Finance Journal, Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics, among others.  He performed as an ad-hoc referee for the Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Financial Review, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Applied Business Research, International Review of Economics & Finance, and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money. Under his guidance, his class in Investments at Truman State University won the National Championship in the Fall 1998 and the Missouri State Championship in the Spring 1999 and 2003 Investment Challenge (Ichallenge) Competition.
