  Diversity of Locations

• In this study, there were many different locations where various male sexual perpetrators met their female victims. The locations included:

• her house
• a party
• a bus stop
• work
• a high school hallway
• a car
• a friend’s house
• a church
• Boys Town (i.e., a reform school)
• a picnic/carnival
• a tavern

• These data clearly illustrate that the origin of a date rape incident can be traced to virtually any situational context.
