This is a course devoted to mathematical methods needed when working as a physicist.
I intend to rely heavily on the web for making information available to 382 students, so please begin by bookmarking this page. I will be posting documents, notices, solutions, and so forth here, and I will not necessarily make these available in other forms.
Please start by filling out the student survey, so I learn about your background.
You will need to read and probably print out documents listed here as they become available. Please note that since I need to present mathematics, these will be in Portable Document Format. Almost all browsers can read these and print them out; if not, you can download the necessary software for free.
