For many years now, I have run the SKEPTIC Discussion Group on the Internet, plus an associated bibliography with more than 600 books reviewed. We take a critical look at paranormal and fringe science claims.

Creation/Evolution

Among the weirdness which fascinates me and draws my critical fire, creationism comes first, even ahead of UFOlogy and parapsychology.

Some pro-evolution sites:

• Talk.Origins, the best online resource.
• The National Center for Science Education. The leading anti-creationist group. Join them!
• W. Elsberry's site on Dembski and the "Intelligent Design" creationists.

Some anti-evolution sites:

• The Institute for Creation Research, the most important young-earth organization.
• The Discovery Institute. The leading "Intelligent Design" think tank.
• Harun Yahya. Islamic creationism.

Religion and Infidelity

I've described myself as a godless infidel, a screaming atheist, and an Enlightenment Rationalist Fundamentalist. But I've also argued that while religions misdescribe the world, being religious can also be the rational thing to do.

Some secularist sites:

• The Council for Secular Humanism. One of the larger humanist organizations in the US.

A couple of conservative religious pages. Liberal sites are OK, but don't have quite the same entertainment value.

Politics

My politics are not quite mainstream either; I consider the US Democratic party too right-wing for my tastes. On the other hand, I'm generally too cynical about politics to worry much about it.
