This course will help you to:

  1. Acquire the notion of economics in general and macroeconomics in particular.
  2. Understand the fundamental economic concepts, nature, and method of economic analysis
  3. Comprehend economic principles and develop economic reasoning and its application in real situations.
  4. Develop your academic skills and become a more rational member of society.

  • You are required to read recommended textbooks along with assignment materials to complement the lectures.
  • You are also required to attend class regularly and to be involved in discussions.
  • You should do homework, projects, and other class assignments and submit them at the appropriate time.
  • You are encouraged to visit with me during my office hours to discuss matters relating to the course and to your progress.
