CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION:
Introductory course emphasizing the fundamental chemical concepts and their application to
the properties of matter. Stoichiometry, atomic structure, chemical bonding and the
properties of solids, liquides, gases, and solutions. Three hours laboratory per
week. High school chemistry, and above average perfomrance in high school algebra
are desirable. No mor than 5 credit hours will be allowd to combination of CHEM 100
and CHEM 120..If you are currently enrolled in the course (or
