My name is Kyle Gifford, and welcome to my
Build America website. The goal of this website will be to document my experience in Build America, from
team acceptance to completion of the project on August 15th, 2004. It is my
sincere goal to educate visitors of what exactly I plan on doing this summer, who I am and
why you should support this wonderful journey.
The site is essentially divided into five sections, and I
encourage everyone to explore every one. The menu of choices may be found above where you
are reading, so please explore this site, and if you feel this is a worthy cause, I
wholeheartedly encourage you to make a donation to the project. If not for the generous
support of donors like yourself, projects of this magnitude would simply not be possible.
Project Update!! Last Updated: 6/27/04
Well, I've successfully raised $3,552 for people with disabilities. Wow. I would just like to take the opportunity to thank all of my friends, family, and other sponsors for their support of my journey this summer. Right now I'm incredibily pumped to have this opportunity, and I can't wait to begin sharing my message about people with disabilities in a little under four days. It is going to be so amazing, and I could not have done it without your support!
Finally, as I had mentioned, the Columbia Missourian posted an article about me in their 5/30 newspaper (in the 'Faces' section). You can read it here.
Once again, thanks for all your help, and I'll be looking forward to showing everyone the pictures and sharing the stories of this amazing adventure that lies before me! Thanks again so much!

I'm convinced Build America is going to be a great thing to
benefit many, both through monatary donations and through the hard work and results of the
work at the camps this summer. Please begin exploring:
