Phil Ryan's Home Page

I graduated in May, 1997, from the Dept. of Mathematics of U.C. Berkeley. I had a visiting position at the Dept. of Mathematics of Case Western Reserve University. Now I am here at the Division of Mathematics and Computer Science at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. My research interests lie in Lie and representation theory, particularly in the combinatorics of the flag manifold. My Ph.D thesis was titled Counting conjugacy classes in symmetric spaces over finite fields, my advisor was Prof. Joseph A. Wolf. Here are some notes on D-modules.
