Serials Item Summary Screen

The following instructions are for use at Truman State University.

Records on the item summary screen of any serial bibliographic record should display in the following order:

1. tppii dummy record.
2. tppci record (not a dummy: any tppci dummy record created during conversion should be deleted).
3. JSTOR electronic journal record.
4. Other electronic journal records.

   Only the first electronic journal record should be coded to display. Subsequent electronic journal records should be suppressed from public display (ICODE2=n).

5. Other records (generally bound volumes)

   These should be suppressed from public display. Public information about holdings is drawn from the checkin record.
